Apple Festival 2011

The 6th Annual Apple Festival
The weather was perfect for the 2011 Crown King Apple Festival. Children and parents enjoyed the day at all of the family centered events. Participants were treated to hay rides, pumpkin patch, games, crafts, schoolhouse tours and bouncy house. The General Store picked several bushels of the green “Blushing Maiden”  apples from the giant tree on the front porch. Kids were able to dip their apple in our Melted Homemade Butter Fudge and decorate them with their favorite toppings. Thanks to Melinda Ripley for organizing this year’s event. We hope everyone had lots of fun!!
