1st Annual Labor Day Cornhole Showdown

Crown King helped wind down the summer with the 1st Annual Cornhole Showdown benefiting the American Legion Post 139 in Crown King, Arizona. This Labor Day Weekend event drew some attention from Cornhole players across Arizona. While the Cleator Boys are very good, they were no match for the teams that came up from the valley. One of our contestants, Scott Frazier, brought up six games and score boards. Scott manufactures custom boards and they are very nice! If you want his contact info please call the event sponsor, Carol Boles, at 602-717-6363. Thanks for all your support Stott Frazier!

Third Place went to Team # 11,  Tee Baggers, Scott Frazier and Jeff Kozloski.  Second Place was awarded to team # 24, Doobie Brothers, Dave Frazer and Alex Morales…. First Place winners were amazing! It is obvious they have thrown a lot of beanbags.  The winners of the 1st Annual Cornhole Showdown are #13, Gallo Caliente, Tony Fuentes and Andrew Hernandez. Congratulations to all the winners.

Thanks to everyone who came out to play and raise money for the American Legion. Our event raised over $1,600 for the American Legion Post 139. We hope you all had fun and will plan to join us for the two cornhole tournaments in 2016. The Cornhole Challenge will be July 2nd, 2016 and the Cornhole Showdown will be Sept 3rd, 2016. Mark your calandars!! Thank you to  Debbie Savatonne! Debbie bracketed the teams and kept the game rolling. A big Thank You goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this event so successful.
